Huracan Torque Modelling

Postby TurboTim on Tue Jan 30, 2024 8:54 am

I am wondering how the torque modeling works with the Huracan setup. When the car is turbocharged it is making more torque and do I have to scale the TCU to read this additional torque or is it full line pressure at a certain point so I shouldn't worry about it? How do the two interact?

There are so many factors in this, it is really hard answer this.

To start off, I would recommend you read the user guide:

Everything will depend on the TCU tune itself.

The Huracan Torque Translation is what is the interaction between the calculated torque in the M1 and what is sent on CAN to items such as the TCU.

In the instance of the Huracan there is little need in my experience to change the torque translation from 1:1, provided the torque model in the ECU is set accurately. On built motors with altered compression, sometimes the torque generated scale needs adjusting to bring this into line.

The TCU determines the required line pressure based on the torque that it is told the engine is making. The maximum line pressure, the correlation between the torque to line pressure required etc all requires knowledge of the TCU tune and clutches in the particular vehicle.
