Pectel SQ6 to ADL2

I have to connect an ADL2 to a Pectel SQ6. :)
What will be easier, CAN or RS232?
And will it even work ? Both have CAN and RS232 interfaces, but are protocols compatible ?

It does work on CAN and RS232. At the same time if you want it to.

CAN is better because the speed and number of channels over the RS232 is limited, so use the RS232 for your non-fast updating channels (Traction Control setting, Pit Switch, etc.)

From memory SQ6 CAN speed is 1Mbit, so make sure everything running on that CAN channel is also capable of running at 1.

Once you know what address your SQ6 is sending the various channels to, or you tell it where to send them, setting up the ADL is easy.
