Motec m150 gear position to c127 not working??

I’m using the protocol provided from motec.
I can’t get the dash to read the gear. It just shows 3 all the time.
The ecu reads it as expected. But nothing in the dash.
The channel in the c127 is just “gear”.
Any ideas?

check the comms in the dash and that you are receiving the gear channel, its in the comms template "M1 general 0x640"

Hello
I have the same problem. The solution wasn't posted.
Gear position reading fine on M150 but not the dash. Version 0.1.11.0203 Tune 1.4
Using the M1 General template. other sensors are working on the dash.
I checked on the dash config it seems that it defaults to ADR for the gear position? can't seem to change to ECU.

Which M1 General templates are you using in the Dash?
The version the the GP Package that you are using requires the following versions to be used to work correctly.
M1_General_0x640_Version 5.1
M1_General_0x650_Version 4
M1_General_0x6A0_Version 1

Thank you, that worked.
Could have sworn there was only one M1 General to choose from there before?
I also noticed there"s one template that says M1 Paddleshift. should i be using that one as I have M150 GPRP & will be running paddleshift.
Thanks again for the help

The Paddleshift template gives some extra channels specific to the GPRP Package, if you load this template, there will be a couple of conflicts with the existing templates (such as Gear), this is worked around by unselecting that Channel to be received in the template.
