Are you using CAN or RS232?

Our template is designed for the AEM CAN comms..

thanks

it is for serial bus, it is most commonly used on their 1st and 2nd series ecu, they both are the same format as above.

Ok, We have already done the CAN dash template for AEM, but not RS232.

Can I possibly get the RS232 format as a file (so the formatting is a bit easier to read)

email to jamie.augustine@motec.com.au

this should be able to be done within a few days of getting the information..

thanks.

Jamie

Is there any literature on setting up or changing these CAN templates? Let say I want to change a channel in the template. What do I need to look for to make sure everything is set up correctly?

I guess there isnt really.

Basically, you can select any motec CAN template, click the Edit button, and all the settings that you may need are there in the Parameters panel, or the Channels panel.

If you take an existing template (like AEM) and examine how we have implemented it, you should get the idea of how to change it to suit your applicaion.
