Reset password communication channel - Porsche Cup 997

Hello,

Car: Porsche Cup 997

Since a few weeks we can't anymore load the configuration from the PC to the dash of the car. Before to load, the program ask me for the communication channel password. Any procedure for resetting the password or do we have to send back the ECU to Porsche ?

If you want the password removed, the ADL2 dash has to be returned to Porsche. If you are located in the USA, Porsche Motorsports USA handles this. It is likely similar for other countries.

You should be able to use ADL2 Dash Manager to get the configuration from the dash, and you can change things not related to comms and send that configuration. However, when we want to convert those cars from IR beacon to GPS, we have to get them unlocked.

Here is the form used in the US for upgrading dashes -- it shows the cost of unlocking as US$ 115.
