Ethernet connection

This might seem a very basic question;

I'm upgrading from M880, ADL, PDM 32 to M150, ADL3, 2x PDM30 or 32's.

With the previous setup I obviously used a Motec UTC to connect to each of the hardware devices. I will obviously need to retain this to connect to the PDM's.

The question is, do I have just one Ethernet connection to allow me access into the M150 and ADL3 or do they need one each ?

Thanks in advance.

Each device requires separate ethernet wiring they cannot be spliced together.

If you wish to connect the M1 and ADL3 to the PC at the same time you would need a network switch or a PC with multiple ethernet interfaces.

Hi
Having three ethernet Motec devices (so far!) in my car was also causing me issues so I ended up fitting an automotive router/ethernet switch.
Now all accessible from one ethernet port or WiFi.
Might be worth considering.

I use a Switch like this in my car. It runs off 5V/0.6A so I have made a power cable with the correct two pole power connector at one end, and a USB 2 connector at the other. This allows me to power the switch from the USB port that I have in the car.
