C185 and PC Communication

Postby caleb on Wed Jul 27, 2022 1:13 am

I connected my Motec C185 to my PC via ethernet cord and it seems to be able to communicate to each other, as I am able to send configurations to it. However, I keep getting the message "Received response from host with invalid TTL 1 on interface 'Wi-Fi. 1'" What does this mean and how do I fix it?

Hi,

As the MoTeC Discovery program is running, it is pinging all of the available network interfaces on your computer. If you do not have a compatible MoTeC device to be discovered on that network (in this case the WiFi network) it reports this message.

That message will not cause any communications issues and can be ignored.
