No connection PC to logger

Hi,
Downloaded the ADL2 Dash Manager program but do not have a connection to the logger. The cable I am using is OK and I can use the program for data analysis, using another PC to upload data. Do I need to do something to set up a USB driver? I do not remember getting this question when I installed the program. Should I try deleting and reinstalling the program?

Hi Brian,

What version of Windows do you have on your laptop?

It should install the driver automatically, if you go to Windows Device Manager has the MoTeC ADL2 Driver installed correctly? ie doesn't have a small yellow triangle next to it

I have Windows 7. No info about Motec ADL2 driver in device manager. Time to delete the application and reinstall ?? I appreciate your help, thanks.

You may have to manually download the USB driver, you can get this from here

Try installing that and see if it fixes the problem. If that doesn't work either it is possible you will have to do it in safe mode.
