CAN gateway

Hi

Can anything else act as a CAN gateway other than the Motec USB to CAN adapter?

Trying to work out if I need to wire my USB to CAN adapter into the loom or can use an alternative device (M130/CDL3 etc).

Currently using it mostly for PDM programming.

Any M1 or Colour Dash with the latest firmware can act as a gateway, however not to a PDM, only a UTC can be used to communicate with the PDM. The reason for this is that usually the PDM is powering the ECU or Dash. When the PDM is being updated it has to turn the outputs off and hence turns off the device that is programming it.
