2jz limiter cut & Fuel DC warn
I'm new to the Motec world and currently using an M130 ECU with the GPlite package on a 2JZ-GTE engine. I'm encountering three main issues:
1. Unusual Rev Limiter Behavior
The rev limiter doesn’t behave like a typical on/off cut. Instead of a sharp cut and quick rebound, the RPM holds at 7,000, then drops to around 6,200 before climbing back up—similar to the soft limiter found in factory GM vehicles, but not consistency.
I’ve experimented with various fuel cut and ignition cut configurations, but the behavior remains unchanged. Interestingly, if I set the limiter at 5,500 RPM and below, it works correctly (sharp cut and bounce). I’ve checked:
All limiter settings
Battery voltage
Fuel pressure
Ignition timing (verified with timing light)
Data logs show no obvious anomalies
Yet, the issue persists only at higher RPM.
2. CAN Errors message
Even I disabling all CAN devices and communications in the M1, I’m still getting CAN-related error messages.
3. Fuel Duty Cycle Warning
I occasionally receive a fuel duty cycle warning even during simple free revs in neutral. I’ve tested with both ID1000 and ID1050xDS injectors, and the issue occurs with both. The warning seems inconsistent, but it’s concerning given the engine isn’t under load. ( if someone have the ID1050xDS injectors setting on m1 1.5 software will be appreciated for double check )
I’ve attached the file and data logs
. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
