Lambda Narrow Input M150

Hey, I am using the Motec M150 ECU which has 2 lambda narrow inputs. I have run out of analogue inputs and analogue temperature inputs, so I wanted to use these inputs for non critical sensors that are just there for data logging.
I was planning on wiring the signal for a 2 wire temperature sensor to the lambda narrow input with an external 1k pullup to 5V. The documentation says that lambda narrow already has a 1M pullup to 5V, but this would make the sensor range way too little to get an accurate reading. Would it be a problem to add an external pullup? From my understanding, the two pullups would be in parallel making the effective pullup resistance 999 ohms instead of 1k ohms, which wouldn't make a big difference.
Also wondering how the different Sensor grounds and 5V affect this use case. Does it make a difference whether I use Sensor 0/5V A, B, or C with the lambda narrow input?
