GM DI 3.6l V6 LLT/LFX Support?

Postby Txbdan on Wed Oct 16, 2024 9:45 am

Hi all,

I'm running an LFX swap in my race car and I'm interested in running a Motec ECU and PDM setup.

I see that the M142 manual includes a pinout example for the LLT/LFX. Does Motec offer any additional support for this engine such as a baseline config? HPFP and injector characterization would be a huge help.

Anyone else with experience tuning this engine?

Thanks!

Hello,

The example start file for GPR-DI available to public on MoTeC Online is to suit a GM LLT.

This is only an example and you would need to ensure it is suitable for your specific application but it should be helpful to download and review.

I see it now, thanks.

The LFX has a different HPFP and injectors than the LLT. I'll need to chat with my tuner to understand how big of a deal that is in terms of effort.
