Turbocharger speed

Is there anything special to get the turbocharger speed to come in? It’s on universal digital input 4. It’s getting 5v and sensor ground. This is the borg Warner one. I’ve tried a new sensor but when I do a capture input I don’t get a wave form. Borg Warner 9174.

This may be a silly question, but you do have the motor running with some revs on board to get some turbo speed? I believe some of the turbo speed sensors won't read below a rpm threshold of 5k ish rpm. Also have you got the pullup resistor enabled?

Yes engine running but I haven’t tried it at significant rpm. I’ll check about the pull up.
