DBW problem / Pedal at -1%

When following the procedure to calibrate the throttle pedal, the M150 shows -1 % (minus1) percent pedal position instead of exactly zero.

This triggers a fault and the servo is being disabled until the pedal value moves to 0 and positive values.

The calibration was done precisely following MoTec guidelines.

Any thoughts ?

Are you sure you have the matching 5V and 0V supplies for your Pedal Main and Tracking voltage source?
Do you have the ECU on a charger when you do the calibration, or a well charged battery?

Hello David

The ECU is powered by a lab- powersupply on the bench. Motor and wiring loom sitting next to it.

Are you referring to A B and C cirquits for matching Zero and 5 V ?

If it were me, I would be paying attention to the voltage from the main & tracking pedal sensors. Perhaps tweak the Main / Tracking Offsets if needed.

You could just use the Q key on the Main Offset when it's reading -1 to re=calibrate it.

If you would like someone to work with you remotely on this using TeamViewer, I can do that. Just send me an email - ferg@veracitydata.com and we can set it up. Where are you located?

Sorry I missed the last sentence of your reply. Yes, you have to use the matching 5V & 0V pins for each A B or C power supplies, and you have to select the correct reference for the Throttle Pedal Sensor Main Voltage Reference (and Tracking Voltage Reference).

Hello David

I will revisit my wiring diagram tomorrow and revert back here with data.

I am located in Switzerland.
Could you let me know about your pricing for online support?

Thank you in advance.
D
