Injector issues

Postby Booko84 on Mon Jun 20, 2022 6:38 pm

Hey all,

Doing a custom setup in a Triumph TR6 and have a kit that was supplied for manifold etc.

The injectors are Bosch 0280155710 which interchanges with Ford F6VE-A5A, but is not on the list to choose from on the primary injector page.

Does anyone know if I can select another injector close to it? Or have the manual figures I can put in for them in the manual menu (peak/hold/saturated etc)?

Cheers

Here are some values better then nothing I guess. From the list find the closest injector to yours click it so that te linearization stays when you select manual. Then click manual and input those values form the link. Should be close enough for idle. And find if they are saturated or peak and hold very important. Then contact your closest motec dealer and send them in for calibration. It's free

Thanks mate, unfortunately it doesn’t have the amp readings etc the Motec is asking for unfortunately, I have searched everywhere via google and nada. Also does not tell me if it’s a peak/hold or not.

I will contact the Motec dealer as well.

Cheers

The current is easily derived from V=I*R.

Or V/R=I

If your regulated voltage is 14v then

14/14.5= 0,9655A

Hi,

We do not have those injectors calibrated. I would get them done rather than trying to fudge the calibration information.
