Speed Sensor Config

Can anyone share some T56 speed sensor settings?

Mainly after the pin settings as I'm getting debounce maximum errors when stationary. (could also be when moving but yet to be tested)

Hi,

The Debounce Maximum errors are occuring because the Debounce is set to the maximum value. Drop the three highest debounce values to 130 and the error will go away.

What sort of sensor is it? Most internal gearbox speed sensor that I have seen use a Hall Effect sensor outputting a square wave signal. If it is a Hall Effect sensor, then the debounce can be set to a single number, usually around 20 will work.

Hi Steven,

Thanks will give that a go.
Stock T56, 2 wire sensor in a commodore, I believe it’s Variable Reluctance

When you have the sensor wired in, jack the wheels up and drive the gearbox in a number of different gears and engine speeds, doing Input Captures at different speeds, this will allow for you to build up the Threshold, Hysteresis and Debounce values to suit.
