Engine charge temperature error

Postby Mobne on Fri Mar 11, 2022 7:11 am

I have a issue where engine charge temperature is a crazy number.
Like 20 numbers long.

I get no fuel on crank and I guess this is the cause. Diagnostic tells me injectors are fine and no cut active.

Where should i search? I have read the help and I don’t find anything that is obvious wrong. But it’s my first start with the motec so I could be wrong.

Please push me in the right direction and help me where to look.

Have a look through your Lambda Aims, there will be one that is set to 0 somewhere that will be causing this.

It was as you said. It starts fine now.

One more question, what is a normal engine charge temp when everything is setup correct? With 20c ambient temp i still have -0,5 deg charge temp. Is this normal?

It was at 13.5 deg.

I saw a post that a starting point should be 13 for gasolin and 20 for e85. I will try that out.
