Analogue temperature input translation

Hi there,

M142 with GPR-DI firmware.
Using an analogue temperature input for coolant temp sensor and want to set the translation table based off resistance. It is currently set to voltage, can this be changed? Or do I need to calculate the voltage at the pin based off the 1kOhm pull up to +5V?

Cheers,
Dave

Hi Dave,

What is the part number of the sensor? I may have a calibration for it that hasn't been published.

Hi Sean,

It's a Mazda/Ford sensor. Any of these should dothe job:

L35G18840
LF0118840A
LF0118840
LF01-18-840
LF01-18-840A
L35G-18-840
L35G18840
LF0118840B

Dave

Hi again,

Still chasing the sensor data for the Ford/Mazda Sensor if you have anything?

Also looking for the voltage vs temperature data for a Bosch Pressure & Temperature Sensor P/N H-PS150-AT-B?

Can I just calculate the voltage translation based off the 1kOhm pull up to +5V. Happy to do so, just want to confirm this a valid approach?

Thanks for your time.
Cheers,
Dave

Please see attached the bosch temp sensor calibration numbers requested.

Calculated voltages can be used, and are usually accurate to within 2-3 degrees in most scenarios (depending on the tolerance of the sensor and the accuracy of the resistance data.
