M1 GPR Firmware Resources 1-30

Hi All,

Is there any documentation anywhere as to what the FW resources tie to?
I know 31 is Clutch Switch Voltage but can see anything on 1-30

Or are they purely for the plugin vehicle specific packages?

They are for use by custom firmware packages. So you are correct the vehicle specific plug in packages use them, as do many of the partner packages.

In my own packages, I often read data from CAN devices, and allow the user/tuner to select what firmware resource to use for the values. Then they can select that resource for a channel that might be used as a table axis.

Thanks David, seems like your package adds some handy functionality in being able to link them to selected functions.

Ie in my case the clutch switch is used for both cruise exit and as a clutch switch.
I was also wanting to use it to activate launch.
I have done this via a user condition reading cruise exit in the dash and sent it back to the ecu via can as a work around.
