Is it possible to use CAN out from M150
To display data to an external device?
I have a logger that reads OBD2
Since this m150 is plug in.
I cant detect my engine data by oe OBD2 plug.
It did not detect any ecu.
So i am thinking wether this m150 can mimic the logger i have as display. That comunicate through OBD2
Thanks

Hi,

There is no OBD output or support from the M1, the Toyota 86 Firmware transmits the standard M1 CAN Messages and works with the MoTeC Displays. It may also work with other brands of displays with varying levels of data available.

But if try to plug an obd reader into the 86 plug.. the obd did not detect like stock car.
So there is CAN data transmitted throuhh the OBD2?
So i just need to tap the Can H and Can L ?

Your configuration is transmitting data on CAN Bus 1 at 1MBit, where is this wired in your car? I can see that your LTC is on CAN1 -- so you could connect there for your dash display.

Actually the harness is plug in from you to our car.
I connect the ltc into the spare connector provided with the harness
Ok i will try to connect to Can1

Yes.. what i am asking is the software related.
So can bus2 is dedicated to stock oe components right?
Can 1 is for motec to lambda and output to dash.
