Hi all

Is there a documented process for upgrading from GPA to GPR, ideally without losing the config?

Thanks in advance

open a new GPR base config, and your exisiting GPA config with File->Add Compare Package..., then use Tools->Migrate data to transfer the differences. You will end up with a GPR config that has all your existing GPA data. Usually takes only a few minutes to accomplish this.

Cheers David, looks simple.

Sounds like the hard bit will be paying the higher license!

As David said, The Migrate Data function is the best way to move your calibration from GPA to GPR. If you use the Migrate All button at the bottom this clears the settings such as resource allocations from the Package that you are migrating into as part of the process so you do not have clashes when the migration is performed.

You can trade your GPA licence in when you go to GPR as well.

Thanks for confirming. Ordered level 2 logging this pay day to help with setup, GPR will be next.
