Estimated ground speed and launch control
Posted: Tue Aug 25, 2020 9:47 amSince motec defaults to estimated vehicle speed if moving throttle exceeds diagnostic delay, I am having problem with launch control. It will work once, but then I try again and I have exceeded the diagnostic delay so the car thinks its moving, and to my (surprise!) launch control doesn't work.
other than changing the moving throttle to a MUCH higher value (any downsides?) is there any other solution? Thinking I might just add a GPS, but i can't tell if it still wouldn't default to estimated speed if the GPS said the car was stationary as well!
