Hi Scott,
Essentially, with partner packages, any support needs to go via the person that developed the package, however if you can post some logs of the starting attempts, it would go a long way to assisting with troubleshooting.

Well still wont fire just back fires, and pops in exhaust. Performed compression test - 180 psi all 4 cyl cold obviously, zero leak down, timing belt marks all line up, crank sensor ring is good, replaced crank sensor, and cam sensor. If the I2 log will load look at 2:15~2:18 see the bad pitch on the ref line. This thing is kicking my butt... Talked to John on Tuesday this week, and checked the cam phaser on the back of the exhaust cam. Moved the cam and crank sensor 12v power to its own channel on the pdm. Evo8 on M150 with JRR firmware package. I have turned off all driver switches in the package to see if something was causing the ignition cut.

Hi,

The Engine Speed Limit State is showing as Drive Shaft Speed, if you allocate a resource to the Transmission Drive Shaft Speed Sensor Resource to make the parameters visible, you will see that the Transmission Drive Shaft Speed Engine Speed Limit is set to zero, change this to a value of 10000, save the change and then un-allocate the resource to hide the Transmission Drive Shaft Speed Sensor parameters, and then try starting the engine again.

I have highlighted the names of the channels that are causing the engine speed limit to be active in the log file that you sent.

The Engine Speed Limit State is showing as Drive Shaft Speed, if you allocate a resource to the Transmission Drive Shaft Speed Sensor Resource to make the parameters visible, you will see that the Transmission Drive Shaft Speed Engine Speed Limit is set to zero, change this to a value of 10000, save the change and then un-allocate the resource to hide the Transmission Drive Shaft Speed Sensor parameters, and then try starting the engine again.

Mr. Dean. You are the man.. made the changes in the package as you said, loaded it to the ecu, reset, then fired right up to life... THANK YOU for your time and the help!!!!

Well it runs but not very well. Looking at the latest log from friday is it normal to have a ignition cut count high like this one? Its got new plugs and coils, so does not exactly make sense to me. Also having a time with getting the AIM pressure transducer to calibrate properly, as it says the fuel pressure is low, but with a mechanical gauge on the rail its around 40 psi while running.

Put another zero on the Transmission Drive Shaft Speed Engine Speed Limit as it is set to 1000 in that log file, and you have an idle aim of 1225, so it is hitting the Engine Speed Limit.

With the Aim Pressure sensor, this data sheet has the 0-145psi sensor using the following calibration data.

1V = 0 PSI
5V = 145 PSI

The sensors that we use (Honeywell MLH) are typically 0.5V to 4.5V for their measurement range.
