M150 in GTR not automatically powering down

Postby cjmatt on Wed Oct 03, 2018 10:35 pm

Hey everyone, having a problem with my M150, it is staying on after shutting the car off and draining the battery. If I unhook the battery cable temporarily, it shuts down as it should, and powers up like normal the next time I start the car, however, after turning the car off, Its remaining powered up. I imagine it's supposed to signal a relay to kill the power or something, however I can't seem to find the setting. Can anyone help me sort this out?

The ECU is supposed to holds power to itself after the ignition is turned off just for a few seconds.
The conditions that can hold it on longer are -
- Engine Run Switch is On. This should be linked to the ignition switch signal wired to the ECU, but if it's miss configured the ECU won't know when you have shut the car off.
- M1 Tune is connected to the ECU. I assume you do not have a laptop connected.
- Brake State (or Brake Switch) is On. This is normally based on the brake light switch so this could be miss configured or stuck on.

If this doesn't help, please let us know which package version you have and we can go through each item in more detail.
