Closed Loop Fuel setup on M130

Postby picasso on Wed Sep 05, 2018 8:42 am

Hi,

I have a M130 ECU which is set up with closed loop fueling on a V6 engine. There are two lambda sensor connected to a MoTeC LTCD providing the AF values to the ECU.

I am questioning whether the fuel trim are individual for the two cylinder banks based on the respective AF measurement, or if the two AF measurements are averaged and providing a common fuel trim for all cylinders.

Hi,

If you have the Lambda sensors setup as Exhaust Lambda Bank x Collector, then the Closed Loop function will trim each bank individually.

You need to ensure that the correct LTC is allocated to each bank, otherwise you can have a situation where the M1 is applying a trim to the incorrect bank.
