Data logging

Postby greenamex2 on Fri Nov 17, 2017 9:18 am

Hi all

Is there any way of persuading the GPA to start datalogging without an RPM signal?

Thanks

If you look in Tools->Edit Data Logging, you will likely find that logging is started when the Logging Request channel is true. If you look at the help for "Logging Request", you will find that it says:

Data logging will start when either:
•Logging Engine Speed is greater than 0 and Engine Speed is greater than Logging Engine Speed.
•Engine Speed Reference State is not Stall.
•Logging Throttle Pedal is greater than 0 and Throttle Pedal is greater than Logging Throttle Pedal.

Hopefully one of those will work for you, or perhaps you can use another channel for the logging condition (particularly if you have level 2 logging enabled).

Now, normally I would just use the strip charts in M1 Tune. Hit the pause "T", then scroll back, change screens, to view all the channels (not just the ones in the Normal Log).
