RPM Gauge not equal to RPM value

Postby MaBaMM on Sat Jun 03, 2017 7:23 pm

Hi members,

On the dyno we noticed that the rpm gauge isnt equal to the current rpm value at any time.
The gauge shows 5000 rpm and the value is around 4300 - 4700 rpm.

How can this be?

This also happens on higher rpms.
On other gauges like engine load normalised this doesnt happen like this. The gauge is exactly the same value.

Thanks
Malik

Hi,

That looks to be a custom Package, have you discussed this with the developer to see if there is a reason for the value to not match? Without live data it will be very difficult to diagnose the issue.

Hi,

Sorry for late answer. Many testing days...
When you look on the pic from the further post you can see two 6000 rpm signs. This happens becaus the engine speed limit was set to 11000 and tje gauge should show 12000 rpm

Thank you
