M1 Evo trigger setting for 94 mx5

Postby plohl on Wed Oct 12, 2016 10:02 am

Hi,
I have been setting up an M142 to go into an mx5 as a bit of learning project. From the T13 spec provided by motec, the mx5 and Evo ref/sync settings are the same - I noticed however using the sim3, there are a few different settings for the mx5, 0A, and 94, with the setting for the Evo being 9F.
The mx5 is using the same 4-2 CAS used on the early evo's.
I was getting a bad pitch error with the 0A setting, using the Mitsubishi 4G63T Engine Speed Reference Mode, 9F worked fine though.

This has me wondering - will I be able to use the Evo settings for the MX5? or will I need to get a new capture. Also, with the SIM3, which setting is best to use when modelling an old mx5?

Any help greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to have everything working well with the sim3 before putting it in the car, still sorting out some last sensors, and loom at the moment.
cheers
