ECU Manager Software Update Suggestion Thread

Postby whrdnsx on Sat Jul 02, 2011 9:04 pm

As Jamie A from Motec mentioned they are in the process of considering updates for the ECU manager software.

please put forward your suggestions to help improve the current software.

my suggestions are;

1. Block number changes, to be able to highlight a number of cells & simply adjust all with + or - increment.

2. Ghost trace

3. On Site box on the Map table instead of off to the side. so the site cursor/box would show on the map table wether inbetween 2x sites or 4 x sites ect. Hope that made sense.

4. I2 Datalog & ECU manager map table trace. ie if both I2 & ECU manager open as the cursor follows a datalog trace the corresponding site would be highlighted on ECU manager Fuel/Ign tables.

I'd like to see all the editable parameters/channels etc. able to be configured in a window with "drop down" tree type menus..

also I'd like to see in i2 the ability to configure a grid for your fuel map with the x an y positions for RPM and throttle pos. and the cells get populated by lamba figures and or the % that the lamda reading is off your target as well as a cut and paste option and a special "multiply special" so you can then take that % number and just do a quick add/sub/multiply into you base fuel map. it would need a filter of some type where the cell doesn't get updated when logging unless the value changes are stable for a few cell hits

fast up/down block changes as per other thread.

Ghost trace, coloured, asterisk or otherwise.

Screen layout lock ( I often grab the main map with the mouse pad and move it by accident lol )
