GPS Fix

Hi

Why don't I ever seem to get a GPS fix despite seeing 8 satellites?

The GPS data is being transmitted from a CDL3.

Because you don't have GPS valid

We wait for the RMC message for GPS Valid

This will only ever be 65 - (which is ASCII letter A for active) or 86 - (Which is ASCII letter V for Void) - You can check what the GPS is reporting in the monitor channels of Dash Manager. This is the GPS determining if it has a suitable fix.

Depending on the GPS to M1 templates and GPS templates you are using, this might be missing.

Cheers, sorted with a 2D table

One more M1 error status cleared!
