Disable injectors- a safe short-term security option?

Postby CraigComet on Sat Dec 21, 2024 10:44 pm

M150 - sorry for the basic question, but where do you disable the ignition? (Which screen is this found, and is it as simple as toggling something from enable to disable?)
I'm having the car towed to a trim shop and don't want the engine to be able to fire up while it's there.
Thank you!

The Engine Run Switch will disable the ignition. Consider changing the mapping of the switch to always off regardless of position.

Often better to disable the fuel side of things. That way should anyone crank the engine over, it isn't dumping fuel in.

THe Engine Run Switch stops both fuel and ignition.
