Fuel Pump Control

Postby ChitoFK8 on Sat Aug 24, 2024 7:47 am

New to motec, recently got motec on my 2019 Civic Type R. I been having issues with the Fuel Pump not powering. This issue is intermittent, at time about 2 weeks apart. I changed the fuel relay and checked all of the fuses were good.

I installed the OEM ECU to run the OBD2 Scanner, scanned PGM-FI, no codes, commanded the fuel pump to prime.

Is there a way to command the fuel pump in motec?

Which Motec ECU?
Which M1 package?
How is the fuel pump connected?

I have M142, the fuel pump is connected OEM. I lose power to the fuel pump about every 2 weeks. It doesn't prime or nothing.

Connecting the OEM ECU and commanding the fuel pump was pure luck last time. It happened again today 31 Aug. No power to the fuel pump. I got a code P0560 when hooked up the OEM ECU.

Not sure if its just coincedence but it happens about every 2 weeks I lose power to the fuel pump and it randomly starts working again. I've put a new fuel pump in, change the fuel pump relay and battery is good.
