M130 Run Switch

Postby cw200@live.com on Mon Aug 05, 2024 6:17 pm

I have set up run switch in the ECU, it is configured as a falling edge normal switch assigned to Driver Switch 1, it is designated to UDig 3 and is pinned correctly. In Mapping I have tried a number of different combinations of Default Zero and One but can not get it to work I am missing something but not sure what??

Are you using a momentary switch?

- Does Driver Switch 1 change from Off to On, with the switch? If not, fix this first. Perhaps the voltage threshold needs to be set. Or you haven't enabled the Pullup Control. Assuming you are using a MoTeC GP package, and using Vehicle->Driver Switch tab, then click the channel icon at the top of the left side list to see active channels and not just parameters.

- On the Mapping, make sure Zero is OFF, and One is ON. If this has been done, then what are the values of "Engine Run Switch" and "Engine Run Switch Position"?

I am using a toggle switch on/off

Is pull up required when using falling edge?

Thank you for the reply

The pullup is needed irrespective of the edge in use.
