Barometric pressure

Postby greenamex2 on Thu Jul 11, 2024 6:53 pm

Hi all

No I have some more AV inputs...the dumb questions continue!

I saw from another post that the M1 samples barometric pressure from the MAP sensor on startup. Does it do the same if you don't have a MAP sensor but do have a airbox pressure sensor?

If not, does a barometric pressure add anything on a TPS based GPA tune with an airbox pressure sensor?

Thanks in advance

Ambient Pressure Estimate can use either Airbox Pressure Sensor or Inlet Manifold Pressure Sensor as fallback sensors.

Ambient Pressure can be used as the reference pressure in Inlet Manifold Pressure Estimate Main if Inlet Manifold Pressure Estimate Mode is set to Ambient Pressure Relative.
