Engine Oil Presure Reduced Switch Warning on Huracan

Postby TurboTim on Sun Jan 14, 2024 2:56 am

I am getting this warning on a 2018 Performante. I know its not the oil pressure. What is this switch?

Hi,

In standard configuration the Huracan has two binary oil pressure switches.

These switches are both active low, that being if the oil pressure falls below the switch activation threshold then the voltage at the ECU will rise above the specified switch voltage as the switch is no longer active.

If you are seeing this switch state change to on but the oil pressure is not below the switches pressure threshold then possibly the wiring is going open circuit or the switch could be faulty.
