M142 GPR-DI Firmware

Postby bing on Fri Jun 10, 2022 9:52 am

If i use M142 for non-di application, what are the correctly way to setup primary injector to use port injection since there are no selection for Port injectors (ID1050x)

Thanks,

Hi Brian,

The Primary injector drivers in a DI M1 ECU cannot be used with Port injectors. The DI injector drivers are High Side outputs that are designed to drive the DI Injectors, this means that they are putting out a higher voltage and current than is required to drive a port injector. This output voltage and current will quickly damage the Port injectors.

I understand, i mean if i select output resources Fuel Cylinder x Primary Out using Low Side Injector X and wire as port injection not using direct injection driver. I wonder if this is possible.

And if software setting are possible as well.

Thanks,

Brian

The injectors will need to be set as secondaries, and the secondary contribution needs to be set to a single value of 100%

In GPR-DI the primary injector is hard coded with the direct injector diagnostic settings, so you cannot assign a low pressure port injector to the primary injector correctly.
