Torque Request

Postby Victorgarage on Sat Feb 27, 2021 9:36 pm

Hello i am asking from a reflash software like romraider or openflash point of view.
There are components to adjust or fill in table for torque request againts torque calculated from feal engine

Basically like when we suddenly flooring the pedal.. the information then passed to the auto trans controller to shift down the gear.
Vise versa when to shift up under a very light load.

Ok so my question is.. in m150 which is in my car is a plug in model for GT86.. the com is through CAN
But somehow the Trans Controller is receiving wrong data. So it wont change gear up and down like when i use with the stock ecu.

Is there anyway so deal with theese please.
Someone please help.. since this has given me a headache for weeks.
Thanks

Are you using Firmware Version 1.08.0003 {January 2017] ? According to the data sheet found here:

https://www.motec.com.au/filedownload.p ... docid=4502

that version added support for Automatic Transmission Models.

Well, Are you running the latest firmware Package for the Automatic Transmission? It looks like v1.11.18 is available for different model years from this link:

https://moteconline.motec.com.au/Packag ... geNumber=3

What model year is your car? I'm asking so I can look at the correct package.

Your MoTeC dealer should be providing support. Where are you located, and who was the dealer?

In M1 Tune, you should use one of the "All Calibrate" worksheets to verify that Toyota 86 Transmission Type is set to Automatic.
