Using M150 for direct injection

Hello I am intending to buy a ECU that will serve me for a year or two on a basic Alpha-N setup with ITB Durate 2.0 NA, but would also be in future possible to used with engine like Ford Ecoboost or GM Ecotec. Would M150 be capable of doing that and what are the limitations?

Hi,

An M150 will be able to run the current engine, and can be used to run DI engines that have an external controller box, such as the FA20D in the Toyota 86, they cannot run a DI injector directly, as this requires a different type of injector driver hardware in the M1. You could purchase an M142 (solenoid style DI Injectors) that you can also use to run a port injected engine instead, as this will cover your current and future needs in a single unit.

It's an old post but I'll take my chances. Here's my problem, I was wondering on how to use the m142 for port injection. I've look everywhere in the setting and I can't find anything except for using the secondary port injector. I want to run a 2019 BRP Ski-Doo 900 Ace Turbo which is port injection and I have an m142.

Firstly, what sort of injectors are you running? Are they saturated? or P&H ?

You can configure the secondary injectors within the M142 software and set the contribution to 100%.
This will mean the secondary injectors are acting as the only source of injection.
