M130 Ignition Output Configuration

Postby LouDen Motorsport on Thu Jan 24, 2019 4:23 pm

I'm back, with a question very similar to my last :)

Previously I asked about injectors. This time it's the coilpacks I need to re-configure. We're using the OEM 3 pin Bosch coilpacks, so I'm fairly sure (really happy to be wrong here) that it's not a low-side switching system.

Is there a setup page to allow me to change the ignition output "style" ?

Thanks, in anticipation.

If you have the part numbers for the coils, I can look and see if we have calibrated these and confirm the manner that they are driven.

Hi Stephen. The part# for these coils is BOSCH 0 221 504 456 aka BERU 0 040 100 428

It's fitted to the Alfa Romeo 3.2V6 as found in the 147GTA's

If you think it would be advisable I can pack up an injector and a coilpack and send them down for calibration.
