Aprilia v4 ref/sync

Hi,

has anyone sorted out the ref/sync for an aprilia v4 (rsv4/tuono) for M1 ? would like to start on a project but haven't seen any reference to the above...

Have you done an input capture to see what the pattern looks like? Might be one of the generic ones, but you won't know unless you check.

Hi,

From the information that I have, the Reference Mode is Multi Tooth Four Stroke, and it has twelve even teeth on the crank trigger.

Hi, we've run these bikes in BSB so have plenty of information.

Reference Mode = Crankshaft Two Missing Four Stroke
Tooth Count = 24
Reference Offset = 390.0 deg
Narrow Pitch Threshold = 50%
Wide Pitch Threshold = 180%

The engine syncs from a manifold pressure sensor connected to cylinder 1 (rear left as you sit on the bike), so you need to use the Engine Synchronisation Ignore function (try 1000rpm).
