Ambient Pressure Fuel Table Adjustment

Postby RGAClarke on Sat Apr 07, 2018 3:06 am

Just wondering how the additional Ambient Pressure axis works in conjunction with the main Volumetric Efficiency Fuel Table.
I assume that the axis to accompany Ambient Pressure is Inlet Manifold Pressure and that the cell values will be a percentage of Manifold Pressure.
I am not sure how to view the main fuel table when the Ambient Pressure axis is in use or how to use the Q key to enter values for ambient pressure compensation without changing the main table.

Hello,
The Ambient axis would assume you have an ambient pressure sensor. If there is no ambient pressure sensor the ECU will grab the ambient pressure reading from the MAP sensor when the engine is off and the ECU is first powered.

The main efficiency table will track the ambient pressure if the axis is enabled. When you press "Q" for quick lambda the tuning site will be RPM, Manifold Pressure and Ambient Pressure so not a big deal to tune. Same with pressing the space bar to go to the current engine running site, this action will include all axes that are enabled.
