M130 staged injected

Postby greenamex2 on Sun Dec 04, 2016 8:46 am

Hi

Can someone confirm if the following is correct for an M130 running the latest firmware? Referring to the number of cylinders that it can have staged injection enabled for (Four).

http://www.motec.com/gpa-m130/gpa-m130-ft/

The injectors are high impedance (saturated).

Thanks

Hi,

You can actually run up to 6 cylinders fully sequential with staged injection on an M130, by using the spare Injector, Ignition and Low Side drivers (only Saturated injectors though), with the M150 being able to do 10 cylinders.

I will organise to have the website updated to reflect these changes.

Thanks, thought that was the case but wanted to check before going a certain route.

Can't be many ECU's that can do a six cylinder with full sequential and staged injection for the money. Sounds ideal for a 'budget' M3, 350Z etc. Worth doing a demo for a magazine article or two, probably in conjunction with Jenvey or similar?
