4 port boost control on M1

Postby 6ick6 on Fri Jun 17, 2016 8:18 am

I have a twin wastegate manifold and using the 4 port MAC boost solenoid.
Plumbingwise I have boost signal from 1 port out split to both wastegates' middleport. I also have boost signal from the other port split out to both wastagates' top port.

How do I setup the M1 to control this 4 port MAC boost solenoid?

Hi,

The setup for a 4 port is the same as a 2 or 3 port, you use the feed forward table to set the duty cycle needed for the desired boost. I have found with them that you typically do not have as wide a variance of duty cycle number with the 4 port valves as you might with a 2 or 3 port valve.
