You are my hero.

Looks like I am doing some more rewiring at the weekend!

IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With 1.05 and my shiny new Penny and Giles TPS280DP with PWM outputs I can now track throttle servo/throttle pedal position using the UDIG inputs.

So now the stupid question -

Is it permissible to use PWM for BOTH main and tracking? The ECU and Tune seems to be quiet happy to let you do this but I am not sure if it is supported or even a good idea.

Please advise so I can finally finalise my inputs and outputs and start concentrating on actually getting the engine built.

And once again, ever more impressed with the M1 series flexibility. Thanks.

Quick nudge on this one -

"Is it permissible to use PWM for BOTH main and tracking? The ECU and Tune seems to be quiet happy to let you do this but I am not sure if it is supported or even a good idea."

Thanks

Another nudge.....don't want to fork out £500 on custom sensors just to have to bin them in a subsequent upgrade. Thanks.

Hi Denis,

I can't see a particular problem here as long as the two signals out of the sensor are different, i.e. one of them runs from 0->100% duty cycle and the other one from 100->0%.

That way all of the checks that the sensor is operating correctly should still work.
