M1- Switching Logging Channels on a Package Issues

Postby Suprafied on Mon Sep 01, 2014 12:37 pm

Hi,

I have M130 from a licensed retailer and are having an issue with changing channels on the "Normal"/primary logging channel scheme. It appears the developer used the "Exhaust Lambda Collector AFM" 0-5v analogue input function for logging AFR. This is not the channel that is needed to use the LTC.

With the LTC in place and operating, I can't for the life of me figure out how to permanently save this channel change in the "edit logging" section. I have removed the channel, added the correct one and even saved iterations of the channels to be logged, etc.

Every time I close the "Edit Logging" out and then re-open, it still shows the incorrect channel to be logged vs. the channel I just selected. I also can't use the any of the remaining logging layouts (2-8) to log my own. It manages to give a license error and/or too many channels selected (170 total between layout 1 and 2).

This is very frustrating as I figured more support from the user manual would be offered, but appears this area is lacking as far as setup and/or changes to end users. Would a GPA/GPR manual be of assistance to me?

If so I can provide my serial number of my unit to prove ownership.

Is this a custom package that you are using? If so, you need to talk to the people who developed the package and find out how they have setup the logging in the package. By default, the M1 is designed to work with the LTC to get it's lambda values.
