Hi,

Is that a typo in your question, not sure what an SDM is?

Cool, here is my forum "webinar" for you.

Tuning an MDC and SDC needs the logging upgrade in the ECU or dash to make it easier to come up with the maps.

From my experience with circuit racing EVOs mind you I have only done the diff control using throttle position but I can't see an issue with using the same method for a MAP based diff map.

I usually setup the 3 user modes with different amounts of lock throughout each table like 0%, 50% and 100%. I then get the tyres warmed up and then drive a lap with each mode and decide which speeds/throttle positions give me the best confidence. I then look at my data to work out which was quicker as well using 'variance' in i2. Then I make a map that has the ‘ideal’ setup so I can then tune the diff just right in the next session assuming the track conditions are the similar.

Remember that this is very driver specific as 2 drivers in the same car with the same setup more often than not will come up with 2 different diff maps.

thanks for your help,

I mainly use the car on dirt . i Configured the MDC like specified in the manual, and i mainly use the I2 for adjusting and data reading. I didn't do a lot of trials and mainly wanted to know the setup methods. The base map is really a good start.
I was also wondering what would be the difference between a left foot driver and a right foot one
