Saving recorded Webinars to hard drive?

Saving recorded Webinars to hard drive?

Postby Chris Wilson on Thu Sep 08, 2011 8:27 pm

I have searched Adobe forums to no avail, is there a way to save Motec webinars to the hard drive or a CD / DVD for viewing away from an internet connection? Thanks.

At the moment the feature isn't there yet. There are video/audio capture programs around that allow you to record what is being shown on the screen and is one workaround solution...

Thanks Omar, I am often away working and not always where there is internet access, I use some of my free time to catch up on reading and stuff. Watching webinars would be useful and agreeable :) I'll have a look for these capture programmes. Shame you can't just record them in an easy manner, but I have to admit I haven't thought about reasons the creator of the application, or the media itself, may not wish for this to be straightforward.

we are now creating downloadable webinar files, hopefully we should be able to make them available shortly.

Thanks Jamie!

I usually have the mac for the net and reboot into windows for the MoTeC stuff, and never get on the net on the windows side.
Having the downloads will help.

I have been storing the webinars (and other good stuff off the net) with this:

http://www.nchsoftware.com/capture/index.html

I think the software is Australian, so doing my best to support the Antipodeans on all fronts.... ;)

It's REALLY easy to use, even I managed to get it working first time. For me it's 100% reliable, too.
