Hi everyone,
is there a way for M800 to set auto upshift? We are trying to manage this internally in the M800 unit, but we are not sure it is possible.

Thank you,

Cheers

You're going to have to tell us more about your shifting setup. Do you have an actuator that can be triggered by a low-going signal (say in parallel with your upshift paddle)? if so, then you could use an auxilary output to activate when you reached a certain RPM. An easy way would be to configure a Shift Light Function, but instead of triggering a light, your would trigger your shift system.

We have a motorbike gearbox, pneumatic actuated. The paddle shift signal just sends to a Digital Input the shift request, then through an Aux Output the ECU opens a solenoid valve for a certain time (Up Output Duration).
Can we use the Shift Light Output to trigger the Digital Input?

Thank you for your reply

Yes, what I would do is splice the output from the Aux Output to the Digital Input you are using for the paddle. That way either the paddle, or the Aux Output can cause the upshift (hint -- add a connector on the Aux Output, so you can disconnect for testing or if this doesn't work right away).

Thank you! Great tip, we will report results after some tests.

We tryed direct Digital Input (Gear Shift Up) - Aux Output ( Gear Shift Light) wiring and it works very well! We'll test also in parallel with paddle shifter.
However with a generic Aux Table (Switched) it doesn't work fine. Our Aux Table is like this:
