About REF SYNC Setup

Does anyone know that in the REF SYNC Setup "60: Ducati<48-2/720> and Triumph<24-2/360>", <24-2/360> means that there are two adjacent tooth missing each 24 teeth once/cycle ? :roll:
I am trying to start the Triumph 675, but I don't know which mode REF/Sync mode should use, because I have never seen an engine without a SYNC sensor.
Or I should use mode 8, I try to use Mode8, but there is no ignition and no fuel injection in 4-stroke mode, but I use two-stroke mode only ignition does not spray. Now I don't know what to do.

Yes the teeth are missing next to each other.
On the Ducati the 24-2 chopper spins at half engine speed, on the Triumph it spins are engine speed.
The 675R I was involved with used Mode 65 which used a MAP sensor for sync on start.
I suggest you make direct contact with MoTeC Europe as they have extensive knowledge on this engine and can help you best.

Sorry,I can't understand how to use a MAP sensor for sync on start, can you explain in detail?And my Triumph 675 don't have sync sensor.

You connect the output from a single-cylinder MAP sensor to the SYNC signal, then set the voltage thresholds appropriately. This is very common for motorcycle engines. I did this with a KTM V-Twin, and I've seen it with single cylinder Formula Student/FSAE engines.

Yes a lot of rules do not allow you to add a sync sensor, so MAP sync is a way around this.
MoTeC Europe were very helpful to me on this bike, but it is their documents to share, so I would contact them directly.
I have attached a ref/sync capture from the bike I worked on.
The MAP Sensor is connected to one runner only, and sync is only required on startup, from there it can continue to run only using the ref sensor.
