Aux Outputs Amps

Postby Vlad on Wed Jun 20, 2018 7:11 am

Correct me if i'm wrong, but in the m84 user manual it says that the aux out 1 and 2 can take a max of 7amps ?! I have to wire the vvl solenoid for a sr20vet, and was thinking of controlling it via a relay, because it's on-off...the solenoid eats about 0.8 amps...Should i wire it via a relay ? or directly to an output?

Hi,

The Aux outputs are designed to operate these sorts of solenoids directly, you do not need a relay.
